Cycling is a viable alternative means of transport for many local journeys in Brent. Cycle parking is available at most of the attractions in Brent. Transport for London (TfL) provides details which stations have cycle parking facilities.
Brent currently offers some 27km of cycle routes , mostly as part of the London Cycle Network (LCN). These offer a safe route to cyclists, giving access to many centres of employment, shopping and transport interchanges.
Cycling routes and maps
There are three London Cycle Network routes in the borough:
Route 45 Harrow to Ladbroke Grove. This runs from Harrow into Central London via Kenton, Preston Road, Wembley, Stonebridge, Harlesden and Willesden Junction.
Route 85 Ealing to Barnet. This completed route extends from Ealing to Barnet, taking in Hanger Lane, Stonebridge, Neasden, Brent Cross, Hendon, Finchley and Barnet.
Route 5 Stanmore to Croydon. This semi-finished route extends from Stanmore in the North to Croydon in the South via Edgware, Kilburn and Central London.
