Welcome to Brent

It's Yours…..Join in!

Welcome to the visitwembleyvisitbrent website created by the Brent Culture, Sport and Learning Forum to create a better experience for visitors to Brent and Wembley.

With excellent transport links, home of the iconic Wembley Stadium and Wembley Arena and Central London only 15 minutes away, Brent is a colourful, dynamic and cosmopolitan part of London.

2012 sees an exciting year of events with the crown in the jewel being the Diamond jubilee and the Olympics. Wembley is hosting the rhythmic gymnastics, badminton and of course the football. Keep abreast of all the events, and find out how to get involved.

Brent is also the UK's most culturally diverse place - a borough of contrasts and surprises, which make it popular with big business, sports, entertainment, communities and film-makers.

Inner city areas sit alongside genteel suburbia; it is also home to the biggest Hindu temple outside India and Brent's Indian restaurants are authentic rivals to those in Brick Lane.

Brent embraces the past, present and future: You can experience the present while shopping in Ealing Road or visiting a gastro pub in Kilburn High Road, but wherever you are the iconic Wembley Stadium arch, visible for miles,  symbolises Brent's exciting future.

It is all on your doorstep whether you are a Brent resident, regular visitor, or a tourist from overseas.
