With excellent transport links, home of the iconic Wembley Stadium and Wembley Arena and Central London only 15 minutes away, Brent is a colourful, dynamic and cosmopolitan part of London.
2012 has seen an exciting summer of events with the jewels in the crown being the Diamond jubilee, Olympics and Paralympics. Wembley hosted the rhythmic gymnastics, badminton and of course the football and will enjoy the legacy of having hosted both the 1948 and 2012 Olympics. As the summer draws to a close, Brent becomes the host of many other events.
VisitWembleyVisitBrent provides the opportunity to find out just what is going on.
Brent is also the UK's most culturally diverse place - a borough of contrasts and surprises, which make it popular with big business, sports, entertainment, communities and film-makers.
Inner city areas sit alongside genteel suburbia; it is also home to the biggest Hindu temple outside India and Brent's Indian restaurants are authentic rivals to those in Brick Lane.
Brent embraces the past, present and future: You can experience the present while shopping in Ealing Road or visiting a gastro pub in Kilburn High Road, but wherever you are the iconic Wembley Stadium arch, visible for miles, symbolises Brent's exciting future.
It is all on your doorstep whether you are a Brent resident, regular visitor, or a tourist from overseas.
